Houghton Hall and its captivating Walled Gardens have officially concluded their 2023 season. The historic estate will remain closed until Sunday, April 21, 2024, allowing for preparations and renovations.
Visiting Hours for 2024
From Sunday, April 21, 2024, Houghton Hall and Walled Gardens will resume their operations. The updated opening days and times are as follows:
- Open from Sunday, April 21, 2024
- Opening hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
The Houghton Festival, a separate event held away from the Hall and Gardens, will have its own unique schedule.
Stay Informed
Interested visitors are encouraged to sign up for email updates through the box located in the footer of the estate's website. This subscription will provide timely notifications about the reopening and any upcoming events.
Current Visitors Centre Hours
Despite the closure of the Hall and Gardens, the Visitors Centre remains open. Its current operating hours are:
- Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Weekends: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
